How long will my results last?

The duration of your results depends significantly on factors such as age, metabolism, regular exercise regimen, and facial blood flow. For instance, younger individuals with a fast metabolism and increased facial blood flow may metabolize filler more quickly than older individuals. Moreover, the longevity of filler varies across different facial areas. For instance, lip fillers typically last about 6 months due to frequent mouth movements, whereas filler in less mobile areas like tear troughs and cheeks can last up to a year. Each filler product has its unique formulation, resulting in variations in durability. It’s essential to keep in mind that individual outcomes will always vary.

Before and after

Before your treatment, we kindly request that you refrain from consuming caffeine, anti-inflammatory drugs, and blood-thinners, if feasible, to minimize the risk of bruising and/or swelling. Our HA injectable sessions are typically 30-60 minutes, numbing time included.⁣ There is minimal downtime following the treatment, but we advise against strenuous exercise for the remainder of the day and recommend avoiding facials/massages of the area for 2 weeks. Applying ice to the area may aid in comfort and reduce swelling in the first 24 hours. It may take up to two weeks to see final results without swelling and/or bruising, so we suggest waiting the full two weeks before scheduling a follow-up appointment.
