Depending on individual skin types and concerns, one of our licensed estheticians will choose the perfect chemical solution for your facial. This can include glycolic acids, salicylic acids, mandelic acids, and lactic acids, each with their own benefits.
While this is a simple treatment, there are a few things you should avoid before to ensure the best results possible. You should avoid waxing and/or laser on the area being treated for about 48 hours before the treatment. If you have sensitive skin, stop using any of your daily skincare products that contain vitamin A, glycolic acid, or Retinol/Retin-A® before treatment. Practice proper sun-care, as the skin is sensitive after a facial. Using at least SPF 30+ is necessary, even on cloudy days! Remember to reapply every two hours if you are out in the sun.
